AmerEx offers placements in industries such as Hospitality, Food Service, Moving and Storage, Lifeguarding and Pool Services, and other varied areas. These positions can range from labor-based duties like housekeeping or maintenance to more communication-dependent jobs like customer service and front desk jobs.

When should I begin preparing for the upcoming Work and Travel season?
In order to ensure optimal job placement and processing for each individual, we urge Agents to begin submitting Participant applications as early as 6 months prior to the program start date. Timely recruiting gives your Participants the freedom to choose from the widest variety of job positions.

Is there a set number of participants I must recruit each season to be an AmerEx Representative?
AmerEx works with agencies of varying sizes and capabilities. While AmerEx strives to maximize the reach of the Work and Travel program by working with each Agent�s specific structure, we advise experienced Agents to commit to larger volumes of applicants as this will help us secure the most ideal placements for your Participants. Smaller agencies may want to contact AmerEx to determine the best way to pilot their program. In all cases, we try to accommodate different Agent structures through extensive communication and hands-on administration.

Do you provide Insurance? Is it mandatory?
Yes, AmerEx provides medical and travel insurance to each of our sponsored Participants. Insurance coverage is mandatory and is activated upon the Participant's arrival in the USA.

Does AmerEx sponsor participants who have arranged their own job placement?
Yes, for incoming Participants who have independently arranged employment with a U.S.-based company, we can offer the same medical and travel insurance and sponsorship benefits at a reduced rate.

Does AmerEx require sponsor exclusivity to participate in their Work and Travel Program?
No, we respect every organization�s right to establish partnerships with whomever they choose. AmerEx believes in cooperation and solidarity between industry members in the interest of promoting our common goals.

What is the placement fee?
Many factors, including your country's market, representative experience, Participant recruitment, and Visa success rates contribute to program rates. Contact AmerEx for more information about becoming an AmerEx Representative.
